For the first time, MAFA Vegetal Ecobiology has been at Hortex Vietnam, one of the most important international fairs in the world specialized in horticulture and floriculture. MAFA continues to establish presence in the Asian market with Hortex Vietnam, where it has shown the effectiveness of biotechnology applied to the production of natural solutions for agricultural crops.
MAFA has been among the 200 exhibitors from 28 countries of this great event in the agriculture sector. At the expo, our professionals have been able to present our great range of zero residue biostimulants, biofertilizers, phytobiotics among the more than 7,000 people who have passed through an area of more than 5,000 square meters. We continue in this way expanding our expo calendar of specialized fairs, such as Growtech (Antalya, Turkey), which is also in Asia, or Fruit Attraction (Madrid), in Spain.
WHY IS THE PRESENCE OF MAFA IN HORTEX VIETNAM SO IMPORTANT?
Because the Asian continent is a growing, emerging market with an economy that is strongly committed to environmentally sustainable agriculture of horticulture and floriculture. Therefore, their farmers and producers demand products – scientifically proven, certified and without waste – such as those that make up the MAFA catalog. We have 60 solutions in it to optimize the growth and the quality of crops while ensuring the health of plants and trees to improve the yield of each crop.
Asia and Vietnam have the sustainable agriculture, horticulture and floriculture as one of the most promising sectors of their economy. Also Vietnam is a country with the potential to be among the largest flower exporters in the world. So our attendance at the Hortex Vietnam fair, held the last week of February in Ho Chi Minh City, has created a great opportunity to establish solid business contacts in Indo-China market.
Also we believe that the use of those kind of high technology products, such as ecological and residue free, can open new markets to the food producers. For example, MAFA products are widely used in Spanish agriculture and more than half of the production in Spain is not for national market. The most of the high quality vegetables and fruits ends up in high quality markets such as North Europe and North America and it gives the Spanish farmer a higher rentability. It is the aim that we want to achieve in Asian market, we want their products to reach richer markets to get a higher revenue for their production.
The Asian market has one of the most dynamic economies in the world and it is experiencing an obvious growth. In other words, it is a powerful commercial opportunity that MAFA wants and has to be in.
